The Offering

I sat there and observed perhaps in a dream
A most unusual creature was creating a scene
It appeared like a worship like none I’d seen before
Including orbs, symbols, offerings and so much more
The creature reached out to the heavens above
This ritual was intense perhaps guided by love
I did not disturb this I surely wouldn’t dare
Although I was tempted but it’s a private affair
As the scene slowly faded leaving me in a daze
Thinking there’s many types of worship in so many ways
