Objectified

We both already know this same drill
For we’ve played this old game before
You pick out one of your favorite masks
Is this for fun or for something much more 

I’ll don the mask you feel most well-suited
On my blanked out can’t-see-me face
Because it makes you feel like something you’re not
And you’re always into setting the pace
 

But you don’t even care to really know me
I can clearly see what’s on your mind
As you really are the transparent type
And I most certainly know of your kind

So, cloak my face, my mind and my body
And you can deface and objectify my soul
But in the end I’ll always emerge the winner
Because you’ll never get to see me whole
