Lucid Dreams

You’re in control when lucid dreaming
Directing roles and thematic scheming
But what if something went astray
And your dream took all your control away

Trapping you in a nightmare
With no escape to anywhere
Everything’s taken from what you wanted
Your once safe dream now is haunted

Locking you within the real fear
Of impending doom approaching near
And with no egress and no place to hide
You’re not waking up you know this inside
