Distracted

I’m trying to keep my focus on what’s here before my eyes
But there’s so much going on here I sense messages in disguise
It appears that everything’s floating towards me or is it falling far away?
And those circling odd blue creatures. What’s this painting trying to say?
It seems that as I’m staring, the painting’s watching me as well
So many potential options here for the thinking mind to dwell
