Brown Planet

Brown planet you’re pinned down
by the ignorance of man
Your once succulent beauty now harnessed by greed, cash and scam
You’ve nurtured us well
while your beauty sustained
The onslaught of Takers
who are still not restrained
But miracles can still happen
fueled by science and shared might
And our gem of the heavens
can escape from its blight
