Blue You

With a fractured heart and a sad punctured soul
She’s been left behind and it’s taking a toll
Wondering how it could happen, it doesn’t seem fair
Her now being alone with this huge cross to bear
He said he didn’t want her in a biblical sense
While safely hidden behind an emotionless fence
Asked how she is doing on a scale one to ten
I’ll probably recover but I just don’t know when
With this pain and this sadness I’m feeling quite blue
But I’m looking for some brightness, what else can I do
