She's Gone

Her mind's running all over the place
Between either right side up or upside down
When I try to get through with communication
Sometimes there's a smile more oft just a frown

She just stares outside through her paned window
And she no longer welcomes me inside
So sadly her mind seems split into strange pieces
Her eyes show confusion she tries hard to hide

All was great between us then she began to change
Slowly I lost her from my world as love began to fade
Lives don't last forever, but true love is remembered well.
Soon we're all just memories once it's time to lower the shade
