Another Candle Burns

Another candle burns for a child who is missing
Perhaps taken away by those lacking contrition
So alone and scared and so very confused
Stats show that too often they’re being abused

We pray for their lives as we feel their great pain
We light candles of hope that prayers are not in vain
As there’s always hope and hope can prove strong
For release of these children from those who do wrong
